Hello, I’m S. Zach Hall, RN BSN (he/him/his) the founder of Lightweaver LLC, based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
I have more than 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, working in critical care, flight, and education. I’ve dedicated my career to advancing medical education and patient care.
My mission is to empower healthcare professionals at all stages of their careers by providing high-quality educational resources and support. I believe that by illuminating medical minds, we can foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence in the healthcare industry.
I collaborate with local businesses and hospitals to develop innovative eLearning solutions. By combining my clinical expertise with educational best practices, I create interactive learning experiences that enhance professional development leading to improved patient outcomes.
My Story
My journey in nursing began at Front Range Community College, where I graduated in 2008 with an Associate of Science in Nursing. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and excellence in patient care, I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University in 2017.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive clinical experience across various specialties, including the Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Burn Unit, Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and more. Ten years were dedicated to Flight Nursing and Telemedicine, where I provided critical care in high-pressure environments and honed my skills in rapid decision-making and advanced clinical practices.
My commitment to education extends beyond my own learning. For five years, I served as an instructor for new flight nurses, sharing my knowledge and preparing them for the unique challenges of airborne medical care. I embraced opportunities to grow as a trainer, becoming an EPIC Superuser in the ER setting—training nurses and physicians on effectively utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system.
Tutoring has been a particularly rewarding aspect of my career. I’ve guided nursing students through their academic journeys, helping them grasp complex concepts and prepare for the NCLEX-RN. Witnessing their growth and success fuels my passion for teaching.
My passion for teaching led me to specialize in curriculum development, technical writing, and tutoring. I understand the challenges that nursing and QMAP students face, and I’m committed to making complex medical concepts accessible and engaging. Through Lightweaver LLC, I offer personalized training and tutoring services tailored to individual learning styles and needs.
